You can uninstall BlockCart from your Shopify admin. Before you do, export your rules so you have a copy of them.
Before you uninstall
Export your rules first. In BlockCart, open the home page and select Export rules in the Rules section. Save the downloaded JSON file somewhere you can find it later. The file includes your checkout and payment rules. You cannot retrieve them from BlockCart after uninstalling. See Import and export rules between stores for more about the file.
Uninstall BlockCart
- In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps.
- Find BlockCart, open its menu, and select Uninstall.
- Confirm by selecting Uninstall.
Shopify's uninstall instructions show the current steps if your admin looks different.
What happens after uninstalling?
- BlockCart deletes your saved checkout and payment rules, its records of Shopify payment changes, and app sign-in sessions for that store when it receives Shopify's uninstall notice. Reinstalling does not restore those saved rules. Keep your export file if you want to import them later.
- BlockCart's checkout rules and payment changes stop running in Shopify checkout after the app is uninstalled.
- Shopify cancels your BlockCart app subscription automatically. Future recurring charges stop, but a charge for the current billing period may still appear on your Shopify bill.
- BlockCart does not store customer records. There are no customer records in BlockCart to delete.
